General Info

To most, The Faerie and Fey are sacred, blessed creatures that deserve to be honored, but to the Faerie Hunters of The Feywild, they are simply a tool to promote their own skill and profit. These hunters kill the Faerie and native inhabitants of the Feywild for sport and fun, making Faerie hunting illegal throughout all of the Feywild. However, this does not mean that Faerie Hunting is not a profitable illicit business. In fact, Faerie Hunting is one of the most profitable businesses in the Feywild due to the magical components and pelts that can be gained from killing Fey, but this also comes with its downsides.

Penalties for Faerie Hunting

If caught Faerie Hunting, the penalties are immense in the Feywild. In the Material Plane, not so much, but the Feywild's punishments for Faerie Hunting are extreme: ranging from life imprisonment to death or banishment to one of the Lower planes of Viabaas' Ring.

Payment & Reimbursement

Usually, Faerie Hunters are paid by benefactors looking for the pelt of a certain Fey creature or a magical component from that creature, making the pay for being a Faerie Hunter spotty but very good when it does pay.

Purpose

To hunt and harvest materials and divine ingredients for potions and the like from Faerie creatures.

Social Status

Faerie Hunting is completely forbidden in the Feywild, the main locale that Faerie Hunters operate in, so the general populous utterly discards and hates Faerie Hunters of any type.
