The Origin of Magic in The Wraith Globe Disputed

There have been many theories over the centuries about how and why magic first appeared in Algos. Some believe that after the rise of The Seven Giant Spider Queens and The Scourge spread throughout the main continent, some mutations came from The Scourge itself. The rise of Necrotus was actually a benefit to the nations of The Wraith Globe. With the rise of Necromancy, the nature of the world had to be balanced. This allowed magic users to rise, and eventually create The Order of Wizardry. Others believe the Lords saw this calamity and pour the last ounce of their life force to give the mortal races the gift of magic. That theory would also explain why the Lords have become so distant, but no one knows the true reason why magic appeared in the world.
