The Ashar are infamous for their ability to discover as well as sell secrets, a skill which has made them both hated and sought after by many other Clans. The Ashar have no sense of loyalty or propriety, gathering information on who ever they can and selling that information to the highest bidder. They also have a reputation as liars and manipulators, as masters of deceit and intrigues that should never be trusted but also never ignored. The Ashar excel in politics and business within the world of mortals, as their ability to deceive and to manipulate is without equal. Among the vampiric world, the Ashar have a reputation for treachery, yet they are so useful as well that their services are sought after many many of the elites within the Concordate. Even in princedoms where Ashar are too distrusted to rise to the position of Prince, they often serve Princes as spies, informants, or advisors - though such services often carry a heavy price.
