Goliaths and Orcs constantly wage war across the mountain range, a war that has raged for generations, neither side managing to gain an edge. The conflict is isolated and although sometimes spills out over the mountains, it is always kept in check by the carnage they inflict on each other and are thus left to their own devices by the Empire.
