Garran Airgiad - The Silverwood
Concealed away by colossal mountains, the Silverwood comprises of flora that never decays, never dulls and never succumbs to the seasons, a place of everlasting fertility. Barrier between world are thin, if non-existent here and mysterious accounts abound. This is where the Feywild bleeds into Veratus, morphing the flora and fauna into mirrored versions of those found there.
Many wood elves make their home here, basking near the Fey and turning just a little more alien themselves as time inevitably flows on. The elves of the veil live here. They call the forest V’ael (Immortal Shroud). Hu-mans are happy calling it the Silverwood because the forest is constantly flooded with fog from the nearby sea. The Elves of V’ael are immortal if they stay in the forest’s mist. Once they leave, they become mortal. A dying V’ael Elf who returns to the forest, is restored to youth.
