Andruil: Goddess of the Hunt
Andruil, also known as the Huntress and as Lady of Sacrifice and War, is the Dalish goddess of the hunt. She is a representation of the Dalish's very survival.
It is unclear if Andruil was born of Elgar'nan and Mythal or if she was born of the earth itself. However, it is known that Andruil is the sister of Ioun.
She is currently trapped in the Beyond with the rest of the Dalish pantheon after being tricked by the Dread Wolf.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Andruil's sacred animals are the hare and the hawk. The Dalish also believe that the owl is her messenger.
Tenets of Faith
Andruil is the creator of the Vir Tanadhal, or Way of Three Trees. The Way is as follows:
"Hear me, sons and daughters of the People —
I am Sister of the Moon, Mother of Hares,
Lady of the Hunt: Andruil. Remember my teachings,
Remember the Vir Tanadhal:
The Way of Three Trees
That I have given you. Vir Assan: the Way of the Arrow
Be swift and silent;
Strike true, do not waver
And let not your prey suffer.
That is my Way. Vir Bor'assan: the Way of the Bow
As the sapling bends, so must you.
In yielding, find resilience;
In pliancy, find strength.
That is my Way. Vir Adahlen: the Way of the Wood
Receive the gifts of the hunt with mindfulness.
Respect the sacrifice of my children
Know that their passing nourishes the many.
That is my Way. Remember the Ways of the Hunter
And I shall be with you." — From a prayer spread by Camhlen, something he dug up from times long ago

Personal history
"When the People were strong and free, we roamed the world and could do as we pleased, for the Father and Mother had created such a paradise that we had to see it all. Andruil, Mother of Hares, taught us to respect nature and all of the Creator's creatures. Even though the earth was our's, we did not misuse it. We would pray to Andruil for guidance. Where shall we hunt? Where shall we raise our halla? Where shall we settle and build? Andruil would send her messenger, the owl, to show the People the way, and they would follow her to where the land was blessed. As she continued to exist, Andruil grew tired of hunting beasts and mortal men. She began stalking the Forgotten Ones, wicked things that thrived in the abyss that Elgar'nan had created to trap the Sun. Yet even Andruil should not have lingered there, for each time she entered, she suffered longer and longer periods of madness after returning. More and more she would demand blood and sacrifice. Ioun crafted armor for Andruil that was made from a shard of the abyss. With it, all but Dirthamen forgot her face. She made weapons of darkness, and plague ate her lands. She howled things meant to be forgotten, and the other gods became fearful Andruil would hunt them in turn. Mythal spread rumors of a monstrous creature and took the form of a great serpent, waiting for Andruil at the base of a mountain. When Andruil came, Mythal sprang on the hunter. They fought for seven days and seven nights. Andruil slashed deep gouges in the serpent's hide, but Mythal's magic curled around Andruil and slowly shackled her into the armor of the abyss, so Andruil would be forever reminded of her mistakes. In so doing, Mythal also stole her knowledge of how to find the abyss. After this, the great hunter could never make her way back to the abyss, and peace had returned. Andruil never lost sight of her Way, but began to lust for war." — From a tale spread by Camhlen, something he dug up from times long ago
