    Aftermath

The year of the black sun has left the people of Mercia frightened and looking for answers. A group of fanatics called the purists, convince the populous that this was a divine punishment. That the intermingling of species was not what the gods intended. Thus the kingdom splits into three separate groups: A majority of the Human population headed west and formed a new kingdom at the rivercross, called Veldrin. The Dwarves meanwhile headed east to the copper mountains, splitting off into 5 separate clans that would later come together as the Quinndom of Aegis.

    Atsumaru

Uhtorellian historians note that the first Atsumaru [Draconic for Great Gathering] took place in the year 235PS. After the fall of the chromatic dragon regime during the year of shadows the 5 new clans of chromatic-dragonborn became part of society. As part of this meeting the now 10 Dragonborn clans each named a Daimyo. Of these 10 they then chose one to be the first Uthorellian Emperor: Hiroshu Takahashi the "Tayo no ko" (child of the sun).

    Conflict arises

The first great Phallangeian War: The arrival of an orcish fleet at Phallangeias north-western coast marks the beginning of a swift and bloody war. The greedy dwarven king Lars "the Lesser" joined forces with the invaders against their long time friends and allies the Halfling kingdom Siobhyr (pronounced Sheviir).  Within 16 months half of the Halflings territory was either burned or firmly under control of the dwarf-orc alliance. Once the Halflings had retreated to the Marshlands the dwarves promptly killed most of the remaining orcish host and Lars "the Lesser" was usurped by Ivar "Ironfist". The new Dwarvish king now ruled over the entire northern half of the continent.
