Atlanta Dementia Treatment Center

"We take very seriously this new condition that appears to be a side effect of the new organesque implants from multiple companies. We set up a temporary hospital next to Atlanta, where all the victims will be brought to ensure they would not hurt themselves, or others. The personnel is highly qualified and the lab is run by Aleksandr Zytnisky, the world-famous doctor in neurology that focused his whole research on the potential undesirable effects of the implants. I know many of you are worried about the events of the past few days, but please remember that they are still our friends, our family, and we should treat our fellow humans like we would like them to treat us. God bless America.

The Dementia Treatment Center was always meant to last only several months, a year at most. Not because it was expected for all the patient ongoing Necrotization to be cured, but to wait for a brand-new research center to be built next to Atlanta's CDC. If a cure was the ultimate goal, Dr. Aleksandr Zytnisky was not a physician at heart, but rather a researcher with a questionable ethic. It is unsure if he is to blame for the following disaster, but since he was himself augmented, it is unlikely that he slowed the research on purpose.

Breakout

The apocalypse was too fast for even the center to be complete. The installations were barely built and only two dozen patients were present. The secret goal of the place, if you ask me, was to contain the necrotized in case their destructive power was too much for the regular military to handle. That part did not go well at all. All throughout the country, accidents and slaughters were taking place, disrupting all the institutions at once. So no one really cared about what happened to the treatment center, too busy escaping with their lives.

Now that we have to cross Atlanta, I can't help but be afraid. That mad scientist, he was a brain augmented. Which means he probably is an elite necrotized, super smart with a personal army defending his territory from the rundown center. I really hope we can slip through unnoticed.
