Male and female satyrs reproduce and it takes an entire year to give birth. But it often leads to twins or triplets and more.
Ecology and Habitats
Satyr's can live in cold or moderate climates. While they can live hot and humid areas they'd rather not. They like farming and hunting. Moderate climates give plenty of both.

They mostly hunt or set traps, or trade for food.

There are groups in Thera who enslave or kill saytrs to eat their legs.
Facial characteristics
Satyrs grow fine beards and the females grow small sideburns. They also grow horns on the top of their heads.

Satyr's live in the eastern half of Serferine.

Average Technological Level
Satyrs are responsible for the hoof shoes. Wax and layers of grass stuffed together and held with leather bindings.

Common Dress Code
Satyr tend to wear loose flowy garments and vest, with fitting shirts for women and no undershirts for men. Their pant legs blow freely in the wind.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
Satyrs are excellent woodworkers, hunters and merchants. Large parts of their communities revolve around these two trades.
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
Self styled statues and horn shaping are two common customs for satyrs. They also have the Hagglebeard game. Where two satyrs convince each other they need something worthless.
History
Satyrs were once mindless servants of men. Just like nymphs they had no will or desire, they were given commands and they followed them. Created by the gods with no purpose other than to bow. They bled, lived and died like anything else on Thera, but they didn't possess the thought to complain about it. Fairies had watched had cruel the men became with them. They worked them to death, killed them, abused and used them for whatever desire they had. Fairies had watched this and were disgusted by the treatment. They began taking the satyrs and kidnapping men. They used a ritual only used by witches and were able to steal the essence of man. Distributing it to the satyrs and nymphs, giving them thought and free will. Once free, certain groups of men would chase down and fight the two groups to force them to work again. It took the Fairies to collectively threaten war if they did not completely recognize the freedom of the satyrs and nymphs. After those times the satyrs begin living amongst the human towns and cities before settling amongst their own territories.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Satyrs are on good terms with most of the races around them, with varying degrees of distrust towards humans. They are terrified of the werefolk though, and will do what they can to be as far away from them as possible. They alongside centaurs are turned into chimera when they get infected by the werefolk. That change has proven to be irreversible.
