The church of Emnestrys is not as large as that of any of the Exalted, but their dedication is unmatched. Emnestrys is a paragon of bravery and honor, and expects each of their followers to exemplify these virtues.
Mortal Life
Emnestrys is the oldest of the gods, save perhaps for Zanthe. Emnestrys was an elder wyrm, in the twilight of their life. Many battles had they fought, for glory, for family, and for their very life, often against impossible foes. Emnestrys felt the awe and worship of draconic and human followers, some who were kin but many who weren't, and wept that those other dragons and mortals would be left undefended.
Drawing the last of their power, and the very essence of their life, Emnestrys declared that for the remainder of time their essence would forevermore watch over the faithful and the just. Emnestrys’ body was instantly turned to pure gold as their spirit ascended, leaving behind a perfectly lifelike statue of unrivaled size. This golden statue sits even today where it was left, and Emnestrys’ largest cathedral was simply built around their golden remains.
The priests among the worshippers of the dragon spirits, who were still numerous in the north and in other forgotten corners, declared Emnestrys to be the paragon of dragonkin, and they shifted their worship to now-deceased dragon god.
