Arc 1 - Episode #145
After Dark, Part 2
General Summary
The party stands in the Temple of Aumonator pondering the uses of the artifacts presented to them. Everyone declines to take the Staff of Unwavering Light but Acteronis wants to test the Orb of Light. Later in the day, everyone goes to an open field where Acteronis grips the Orb and has a vivid vision while everyone else watches his body glow with white light for almost 5 minutes.
Afterwards, Acteronis explains what happened with the Orb and they agree to let him keep it.
As the day passes, the group prepares to meet one last time with the Drow vampire to let him know they intend to take on Udoben, the Half-Orc.
The Drow, along with 14 other vampires meets the party and Alexandra outside of the town. They allow him to enter to talk and it is agreed that they will all attack Udoben shortly before dawn to keep him from escaping from the cave.
Both groups depart and agree to meet at the mouth of the cave shortly before dawn.
