Torog - The Crawling King

God of the Underdark and Imprisonment

Torog (To-rogg) was once the god of Athleticism, Determination and Recovery revered by the races of the surface. Being able to quickly heal any and all wounds inflicted upon him. The god found himself being intrigued by the underdark of Therynin with ever day that passed, eventually delving down below he had met a primordial that scholars name Gargash. He was supposedly an earth primordial who hated the creatures that walked above. The god and the primordial clashed, Torog won, but not without its repercussions. In the primordials last breaths it cursed Torog, the god found himself no longer being able to heal his wounds. On the surface, ages past and the people forgot him, he had become a broken god. He eventually became the jailer of the Chained Oblivion. Many believe that the maddening whispers of his prisoner drove him insane. It wasn't until Ilmater had found the broken god had he learned the god he once knew was no more. Sealed deep below the earth, the depths were now the prison of two gods.
