The core first mortal races were born.

The first to be made were the creatures of the lands by Cernunnos who created the wildlife and plant life to populate the lands. Then came the children of Dahak to hunt, and devour, creating the first metallic dragons. Then grafted from the woods and the trees came the elves, from the roots of the earth came the halflings. From the cold stone of the ground came the dwarves, and from the precious gems found below the Gnomes. To protect the hidden groves came into being the spiritfolk, also known as the Fey. Sprung from the eldar trees planted by Cernnunnos came the Firbolgs and Gaithlains, to care and nurture the lands. From the beasts that roamed the lands, the god of beasts allowed them to walk on two legs, giving them voices to speak and with it came the Beastfolk. Lastly the last of the first races came the humans molded from clay.
