Dunkirk Mountains

Steep and rocky mountains which bisect Anestor, creating a natural barrier between the east and the west. It was this range of mountains that separated the elves from the humans in Anestor for so long. Because of the difficulty of the terrain, and the dangerous wildlife found there, much of the land is uncharted and unexplored. That being said, the Dunkirk Mountains are rich in minerals, and many would risk their lives for the secrets and treasures hiding in those peaks. It is said that the Marcisians never truly tamed this wild place, in spite of their efforts. The Misty River travels southward between the mountains to Anestor's capital city, Unity, before spilling into the countries largest body of fresh water, the Elusian Lake.
