001 • The Road to Akros

General Summary

Æcktor travelled to Akros to meet up with Ananke. As they met on the crowded road, a mysterious figure fell off his horse in front of them, who they later learned was named Varyas. His pursuers arrived and attacked the group of folks that were inspecting the situation.

After defeating them, the group around the first man's mask experienced a shared divine experience (for better or worse) and continued on their way to town with the three horses and three golden burial masks.

Milo Tetrimennos returned to his shop for the night, Farouk ibn Mansoor went to his home, and Mycena followed Æcktor and Ananke to The Bronze Shield.

The next day, Ananke took Æcktor to the Stadium to meet with Traxidor, the Leonin trainer she knows.

Milo went to the Library of Kruphix with Farouk and Mycena where he met up with his buddy Dimos. Together, they spent the day trying to crack the Khea Code on the inside of the primary mask.

Meanwhile, Mycena looked into Xenagos with the help of a library clerk—a fellow Satyr named Daphne. They didn't find any literature about him, but she offered to share some information over a drink sometime.
