Wood elves can see with their eyes the natural flow of magic. Trapars are long strands of natural flowing mana in the world. They are divided in many categories, and the Wood Elf has the ability to see Earth mana trapars category, and because of that, they can know if the natural mana flow of an area is acting normal. This does not affect vision when it comes to lighting and you can't see the trapars in the dark.
