Ealax

Species of bioships that want to eat everything in their path, leaving entire galaxies uninhabited in their wake. They come in many forms, ranging from huge sizes to those small enough to attack planets and even parasites. They are made up of multiple sapient hiveminds. Individual Ealax are not sapient, the hive mind is.
Ealax are highly powerful beings. The entire galaxy cluster needs to work together to defeat them, as even individual ealax can rival or even exceed even Hyperion Federation starships.
Some forms have large organs capable of creating and sustaining black holes. Such black holes form the power source of some forms of Ealax, giving them a tremendously powerful energy storage organ, which in some individuals is also used as the digestive organ. Some ealax brains are comprised of near-computronium, giving them incredibly high intelligence and very fast reaction speed. Additionally, they can reproduce very rapidly if left unchecked for several days. They can sometimes have biological shield projectors alowing them to withstand volumes of fire.
Other than that, ealax physiology can be somewhat similar to that of Troznux. Both must be able to survive in the adverse conditions of space, and manage heat, propulsion, ect.
To sustain their larger forms, ealax are sometimes seen performing cannibalism and creating their own ecosystem energy producers, taking energy from stars via photosynthesis. This way, the ealax can sustain itself even with no pre established ecosystem but are still exceptionally hungry for more resources from outside. They have a highly acelerated growth rate allowing most ealax forms to grow to full size in mere days.
