Omnicannon

A type of weapon used almost exclusively by the HEX Mainframe.
Omnicannons are weapons capable of adjusting to the weaknesses of the enemy. For example, if the enemy brings heavy armour designed to stop kinetic energy projectiles, an Omnicannon could evolve to fire photon streams, antimatter, plasma or some other particles.
Omnicannons can change to become almost any type of weapon, such as railguns or even graviton cannons, taidakon particle cannons, regular cannons.
It can do this by modifying the firing mechanism in the breech end of the weapon using a technology similar to the Hyperion Federation's Replicator nanobots. This operation requires a lot of power to perform however. HM starships are fitted with highly advanced, and extemely powerful, fusion reactors which can meet this demand with a large fuel requirement. Especially that, unlike the HF, the HM does not have Quantum Entropy Neutralizer technology, so often after adapting, the weapon can sometimes be extremely hot due to the sheer energy expended as every atom are placed in precise locations.
