Rih'kiel Prime

A star nation that no longer exists in the Ilioneus Galaxy.
Rih'kiel Prime was an extremely powerful type III civilization that also inhabited several pocket dimensions. They developed many unethical but extremely useful technologies. However, this eventually led to their demise.
The Rih'kiel Calamity happened. As a result, Rih'kiel Prime was shattered. All that is left now is the Rih’kiel Remnant, which is a member star nation of the Hyperion Federation.

Disbandment

As the Rih'kiel developed multiple technologies it probably shouldnt have, it became extremely powerful but less stable. Many people were genetically engineered and gained abilities that is difficult for modern science to explain. 
The final straw, however, was the Slipspace Bomb. This weapon is what allowed a single starship to destroy entire sections of a galaxy permanently. Although it thankfully never saw wide use outside of the Calamity, use of these have destroyed the pocket dimensions and left many star systems in Ilioneus annihilated.
Although Raria has been utterly scalded by antimatter weapons, it can be argued that Rara suffered a lucky fate; as a slipspace bomb would have done far worse.
