Time Dilator Field

The Time Dilator Field is a small, highly powerful item that was constructed by the Hyperion Federation.
There is only 1 in existance. It was manufactured to be a test prototype of a modified Fermion Electronic Warfare Platform that effects an entire area around it. The item projects a wide field (~500 m) of time dilation in the shape of a bubble.
As it utilises gravitons from the nearby environment to function, it can only be used within a pre existing gravitational field. It works by projecting these gravitons in such a way to have little to no impact on matter outside of the warping of spacetime which results in time dilation. This limitation is a result of simply having no room within the device to place a graviton particle collider. This also means it has a much lower energy requirement in comparison to other HF technologies. This is a Hyperion device, however, and as such, it still uses a lot of power.
It has however proven quite useful for the Pioneer wielding it. This allows the person to slow down time for himself and nearby HF soldiers, allowing them to react much faster to a slowed-down environment. The strategic advantages this offers is quite extensive.
It weighs about 5 kg.
