Xadia - Rikavi War

A war between the Xadia Ancients and Rikavi Ancients before the Starsong Incident. The war started due to a disagreement with how the future would look. Both factions had precognition technology and knew they would eventually fall into decay. They could not tell what would cause it, or when it would happen, because the Starsong itself jammed the precognition, keeping itself hidden. The Rikavi believed that the universe should be inhabited by the precursor factions themselves. They thought that they would be able to use their necromancy technology to bring themselves back. (this was not the case as the Lifeform Energy Barrier is soul-obliterating. This is one thing they would find out the hard way during the incident) The Xadia believed that the newer civilizations should rule the universe.    The war itself turned out to be massive. The Xadia could very easily produce a massive number of Scattershapes, a ship that the Rikavi could not hope to rival. However, they have a powerful answer of their own; their revival technology. Anyone killed by a scattershape would just be revived. This war had an interesting outcome.   It went nowhere.   As the Xadia could endlessly print out scattershapes endlessly, they did not suffer any meaningful casulties. The Rikavi similarly did not suffer casulties. The war resulted in net 0 casulties.   It is clear that this war defies everything the modern factions know about war.
