Geography

The plains is a very large and flat field of a variety of grasses and grains. it has several rivers flowing throught it, with many hills around it.

Ecosystem

smaller organisms still live in the not claimed sections, but a large majority has been colonized, leaving no room for animals. because of this, animal populations in the plains is nearly 0 at this point

Ecosystem Cycles

all the animals that remain leave during winter, and the plants begin to die, and in the spring they return greener than ever. the elves try to negate that as much as possible, while the animals merely except it as instinct

Localized Phenomena

the stars light is especially bright in this area, for unknown reasons many mages and scientists still wish to seek

Climate

it is very stable and climate in its still natural parts, while in the colonized parts its always hot and humid from the sweat and the fires from the forges.

Fauna & Flora

many tall grasses and grains live here, most of which are inedible by the sapients of the area. most of the animals are gone now, but a few small mamnals as well as insects still thrive

Natural Resources

the area has many ores, rare and common. this area seems to have the biggest concentration of metals on the continent.

History

it was once a thriving ecosystem and home to many animals and elementals as well as primative tribes of flandiric elves. however as the years passed, the elves grew more united and smarter, beggining to form settlements. nothing too bad happened, until they discoved the true power of elementals, when the elves then began their conquest of the planes
