Welcome to Thornhollow

Thornhollow is a lawless mining boomtown located in a remote mountain valley at the base of a mountain recently discovered to be filled with catacombs leading to the remains of ancient magically advanced civilisations.


The area of Thornhollow has been scarsely populated in the last thousand years. For the last two hundred it has been completely unsettled and under the control of murderous bands of Anakim. (Blighted Humanoids cursed with Hatred for civilized races) The major bands of Anakim were defeated by the Vothian Cavalry, what remain are weakened and hunted.


Two years ago in fall prospectors discovered a chamber full of ancient riches. By the time winter snow sealed the pass last year hundreds of enterprising settlers had carved a foothold in the valley.


It is now early spring and at least five hundred covered wagons are scattered in loose groups around the foothills west of Fort Guthrie, waiting for their chance to brave the muddy difficult road to Opeth Pass, leading them to new life and new fortunes.
