Junnharic
Junnharic is the tongue of the Junn Harr peoples of the The Junn Steppe. It is a unique language amongst its geographic peers, sharing very few words or phrases with other local languages and dialects. Some scholars think it could be related to both Caldarian and Arian, but there is no consensus on this point.
Until about a century ago, elders and priests of the Junn Harr wrote only with a runic alphabet that some believe stems from an ancient Gnomish alphabet taught to the Junn many centuries before today. Some ancient burial sites and holy places still show examples of this script deeply carved into stones and altars. Today, the few literate members of Junn Harr society use the Caldarian alphabet to write Junnharic.
Writing System
Junnharic has a runic alphabet as its original written form, but many speakers have adopted the Caldarian script for ease of use, and simply spell words phonetically.
