The Golden Ram Inn
The Golden Ram is a small but very busy inn just a few hundred feet inside the walls. It is run by Wilmar Atwell, a 40-year-old Human widower. The Ram is named for a unique fleece that hangs above the dining hall: it is a large fleece that is clearly a bright lemon-yellow from tip to tail. A close inspection will show that it is NOT dyed, but is, in fact, a bright yellow fleece.
Purpose / Function
The Golden Ram provide meals, drinks, rooms, a stable and a farrier at a fair price and the locals truly love the fare. The Atwells are very popular, and the Ram is a particular favorite with travelers and merchants from the shires.
Tourism
Hanging from the rafters in the great room is a large fleece. What makes the fleece unique is its bright yellow color. The color is a deep lemon-yellow, bright and clean. Upon closer inspection, it becomes very apparent that the fleece is NOT dyed, but is, actually, naturally yellow. The Atwells have been offered ridiculous amounts of money for the fleece, since it does appear to be one-of-a-kind, but they have refused all offers.
The question remains, however: just where did a bright yellow fleece come from? Where does one find yellow sheep?
