Halfling

The smallfolk are common in the Oceanside region, where their small size and quick hands are valued on fishing ships. They are also often used as house slaves in the capital – their small sizing serving to help them be ‘out of sight and out of mind’. In other regions, they would be seen as likely to be those off a boat, but in the Capital it will be assumed they are a slave on a task from their master.
