Klo's capture

Viscount Bardolf has the ‘Daggers of Aqu-Abi’ – a minor artifact of the old god Nerull. The laws of the realm state that any artifacts of the old gods are to be immediately surrendered to the local military – the knights or higher. Klo uncovered this, and was working to obtain the proof and, if he was in breach of the laws, ‘deal to him’. The Viscount was alerted however, and with the protection of the local Landgrave, had Klo captured. Unknown to Klo, she was sold to the Yuan-Ti to keep her arrest from the ████████████████, and her family arrested on trumped up charges of treason.
SCREE! The cry is cut off suddenly, blood welling around the dagger.
“Why are there always rats?” Klo thought to herself, crouched in the shadows outside the manor house. Cracking open the high window, Klo weaves her form into the rafters of the dining room, her form almost imperceptible against the ceiling. Looking down, she surveys the darkened room. If her sources are good, Bardolf has a pair of daggers touched by the old gods. A crime punishable by death. Of course, as a Viscount, he will not be dragged before a tribunal, nor be executed in the town square. He will simply disappear, leave town on business, and never be seen again. Such is the work of the ████████████████ – ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████.
The room being clear, Klo drops to the floor behind a large receiving chair before pulling out a small note from her pocket, written in lightly glowing ink. Creeping forwards, Klo slips into the next room, the embers of the fire glowing softly in the grate. Running her fingers along the books on the shelves, she tilts a book forward and, with a soft click, releases the hidden panel. The panel begins to open, before Klo’s vision goes black…
Klo awakens in a wooden cage, her weapons stripped from her. Bardolf’s guards talk to a group of women, who turn to her with serpentine eyes. “Yesssssss….sssssshe will sssssserve asssssssssss an excellent tribute”…
