Session 023: Helios, the Glorious Sun God, Sleepy Dragon Island, & The Birth of the Dragonlord Brotherhood Report

General Summary

Tonight the Chosen found the Garden of Helios.
Helios invited the Chosen of the Oracle to dinner. Listening to their tales until he got bored & attacked them. They fought until Helios transformed into a fire elemental Dragon & the furies (Erineyes) appeared. Helios had broken one of the sacred laws of Thylea & was about to pay the price for it. He was taken by them to be subjected the the curse of the treacherous. Hulgnir saw that & was reminded about his oath to Volkan.
After the Furies took Helios away for his eternal punishment, the Chosen of the Oracle looted his hoard over the course of 28 days. Bringing things to the Mithral Mines. Hulgnir payed for his stronghold Upgrade in gold & elctrum. As well as the next artisan upgrades.
They they took 3 days. To get to The Island of the Dragon, the Dragon Island, or Islands of the Sleeping Dragon.
The Chosen landed on the main head & entered through the eyes.
Jekkar was worshipped there, by the Dragonborn & Kobolds he saw there.
The lead the Chosen to the exit.
The Chosen found the bathrooms & Ollidak wrote: Those who write on bathroom stalls should roll their shit into little balls & those that read these words of wit should have to eat those little balls of shit."
Jekkar found the Temple of the Five. In one of the confessional rooms was the crest of the Dragonlord order which when the words "I am ready & worthy to recieve my bond" were spoken it opened to reveal a stairway that led down, when the Chosen went down they discovered the incubation chambers for hatching Dragon eggs. The Chosen decided to leave this until after they had dealt with things in this area before they continued through. They found the hatching & bonding registry. Contained information on Hexia, & Helios.

Jekkar presuaded a Dragonborn guard to tell him where the leader was. Finding Hexia's lair the Chosen faced her.
Jekkar tried diplomacy as he didn't want to kill his adopted sister, Hexia. Having recently learnt that he was born from Mytros & Volkan.

With the defeat of Hexia, Rump Castle ownership was awarded to Jekkar. Which was fitting as his city was located outside the castle. Or his city had Castle Rump located within in.
Jekkar selected 5 Kobolds & 3 Dragonborn for training.
Hulgnir & Euadne went to see about her Wizard's Tower, they found it. Euadne solved the three riddles, & was able to become master of the tower. Earning her a level 1 wizard tower stronghold.

Hulgnir received a new vision of attacks from Death King Acastus on Rump Castle, Jekkar Outpost, & Euadne's new Wizard tower.
The Dragonlord Brotherhood offically replaced the Chosen of the Oracle. As they have located a source of Dragon eggs, & now have a leader.

• The Leader is titled, Bahamat (unless you guys change it).
• The Archivist is Euadne.
• The Outflyer (Scout) is Theron
• The Mariner is Pyra
• The Preacher is Hulgnir
• John is the Dragonslayer, the black sword

Rewards Granted

+1 level +1 fame
Jekkar received Rump Castle as a stronghold, Castle Level 1
Euadne received a Wizard Tower level 1.

-1 to highest stat, & +1 Attunement slots: (Those who took it have the option to take it again at level 18. Those that declined have a second opportunity to take it at level 16.)

The Chosen of the Oracle are no more, upon the death of Hexia & the naming of Jekkar as leader the Dragonlord Brotherhood has been born.
John met the Dragon that killed his village & fought him. An evil golden Dragon named Helios.
