Better Criticals

With the Better Critical rule, the weapon damage dice is automatically taken at max value and added to the damage roll. Take the longsword for example. Its damage is 1D8. A typical critical hit would have you roll 2D8. With the Better Critical rule, you would roll 1D8+8(Maximum damage for that die)+any other damage modifiers. This way, even if the die you roll gives a one or two, you still have some decent damage. A true critical hit.
This rule is only for weapon damage dice! Any other damage dice will follow the traditional critical damage rule of rolling double the dice. For example, smite and sneak attack would use the traditional rules.
