House Chanamoux is one of five noble families in the city of Srenn. The house dates back to 1037 when it split from House Vemoux. The main income of the family has always relied on wares like clothes, shoes, and jewelry. They also rent out appartments and are in control of the Vemoux Harbour.
CURRENT DAY
Although House Chanamoux historically has relied on selling wares, they only do it indirectly today. Their main income now is taxes from the four shops they own, as well as the apartments connected to the shops. They also get their income from ships anchoring at Vemoux Harbour.
Neo Mathieu Chanamoux
Neo Mathieu Chanamoux is the current ruler of House Chanamoux. He was born in the year 1212 ME. He married Elodie, and had four children with her. He is often described as a good and just leader.
Elodie Chanamoux
Elodie Chanamoux was born in the year 1215 to a minor noble family. She married into House Chanamoux at an early age. She had four children whom she personally cared for. Elodie is known for her love for shopping and can often be seen shopping with her servants.
Arradi Chanamoux
Arradi Chanamoux is the firstborn son of Neo and Elodie Chanamoux. He was born in the year 1234 ME. Arradi is the main heir to house Chanamoux. He is currently acting as the house ruler in his father's absence. He's married to Emylyna.
Didien Chanamoux
Didien Chanamoux is the second son of Neo and Elodie Chanamoux. He was born in the year 1236 ME. From an early age he's been taught religion and leadership because his older brother Arradi was the heir to House Chanamoux. He has devoted his life to religion, and is currently a High Priest of the Church of Srenn.
Ellaine Anavi Chanamoux
Ellaine Anavi Chanamoux is the third child, and only daughter, of Neo and Elodie Chanamoux. She was born in 1239 ME. She's been trained in archery and dance. When she turned 20 years old, she was supposed to marry Aubren from House Montenac, but disappeared shortly before the wedding. She hasn't been seen since and is videly believed to be dead.
Fernend Pariah
Fernend (formerly Chanamoux) Pariah is the youngest child of Neo and Elodie Chanamoux. He was born in the year 1241 ME. After his sister's disappereance he spiralled out of control. He started to drink heavily as well as get into fights. Eventually his parents disowned him. After the disownment he's been living on the streets.
HISTORY
House Vemoux was split into three different houses in the year 1037 ME. The house leader had three sons who all proved themselves as good leaders in different ways. The people of Vemouxien (now Srenn) was torn between the three sons. When the day came for the leader of House Vemoux to choose his successor, he was brutually murdered. The killer was never found, and House Vemoux split into three houses to keep the city in peace: House Vemoux, House Lanoux and House Chanamoux.
As time passed the three houses often married into each other to keep the bloodline pure. This may have contributed to the family's fertility problems. In later years house Chanamoux has married other houses and more minor noble families to fix the fertility problems.
