The amamuri was quickly domesticated. Farmers raise it for its meat, hide, and the purple crystalline formations that grow from it. These crystals fall off the amamuri naturally, allowing for easy harvest. The amamuri hide has a natural resistance to the high wind speeds of Crimson Hollow, and thus the hide is commonly used to make protective clothing.
