The House on the Rock
Purpose / Function
The house on the rock was a cottage originally intended as a hideaway for the King and/or other nobles to do as they pleased to Thessaliá Edlennion. It was also the place in which Thessaliá would give birth to any bastard children, and where said bastard children would be subsequently disposed of.
History
After Thessaliá Edlennion died, the house became abandoned for many years. Several families tried to live there over the years, but at night would hear the sound of a distant, haunting wailing. No one could live there for longer than a month or two, and eventually it became permanently abandoned and fell into ruin.
Some say the screams are the supernatural echo of a woman's pain from long ago. Others believe it to be a specter haunting the cliffs. Or, it could simply just be the wind hitting the cliffs at just the right angle. Who knows?
