Aether Crystal

For millenniums Tialma was magic less, coming in the form of a shower of falling stars, Aether, a crystal made of pure magical energy crashed all over the planet causing cataclysmic damage but also bringing with it a unique benefit, anyone or anything that consumes the crystal would gain its magical properties.

Material Characteristics

Aether Crystals are most often pale blue and emenates light from its core, sometimes a purple liquidy substance can be observed coiling within the crystal. Some example of all colors within the light spectrum have been found but remain to this day incredibly rare.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Incredibly fragile, it is often compared to a thin layer of ice. Consuming the crystal by either eating it, by Syphoning it or by simply breaking it, grants arcane properties. It has been observed that even something as banal as a pebble can become magical if a Aether Crystal was to break upon it. Since the Star Fall, an innumerable amount of flora, fauna, species, objects have been affected by Aether in some ways.

Geology & Geography

While the true origin of Aether Crystals remains unknown it can now be found throughout the world, some very rare plants such as Magebark Trees have even begun recycling Aether Mist creating new crystals.
