Lanathi

"The Lanathi people have seamlessly assimilated into the cultural fabric of the Namorian Republic, blurring the boundaries between their distinct heritage and the broader Namorian identity, leaving only subtle traces discernible to the keen observer."
- Valeria Aelius, "A Tapestry of Unity: Namorian Diversity and Cultural Integration," 299 RE
In the Eastern Province, the population is primarily composed of the Namorian ethnicity, which forms the largest demographic group. The Namorians, who have a long-standing history in the region, have assimilated with various ethnicities and tribes over the years.   One notable ethnicity was the ancient Lanathi, the indigenous tribe after which the province's former name, Lanathal, was derived. They now essentially do not exist as a distinct ethnic group and have been absorbed into the wider Namorian ethnicity. The only evidence they existed are in some place, family, and personal names, folklore, local myths and legends, linguistic artifacts, and the history books found in old archives in Namor and the Great Library in Eresai.
