History
Olkford was once Oakleaf Village, originally founded by the elves. During some forgotten war, the settlement was claimed by the crown and renamed Olkford. Sometime in the last two hundred years, the Crown gifted the township back to the Monarchy. The elves chose to keep the current name to avoid trade and political confusion, but the locals will refer to the town as Olkford and Oakleaf interchangeably.
