Olmond

The capital city of Roth, Olmond, is a large city situated near the river Hatherton. It is centrally located within Roth and is the state's cultural and economic hub.

Demographics

There is some diversity in Olmond, however, the majority of the population is Anthropos. The city has a large middle class, but also has a small percentage of impoverished families.

Government

Like the rest of Roth, the local government is elected.

Industry & Trade

Olmond is home to several factories and manufacturing companies. Processed ore is transported to Olmond from the Saorsa mountain range located in the southern part of the state. Olmond is also home to artisans that produce goods that are found all over the archipelago. Additionally, Olmond hosts a reknowned university.

Districts

It is no secret that while Roth is named after a goddess known for her kindness, the city is not perfect. There is a shantytown district located in Olmond, where its poorest residents reside.

Geography

Olmond is located within the northern taiga, just north of Hatherton river and the Saorsa mountains. To reach it from the south, one must go through the Bosbury Pass. To reach it from the east, one must take the Roth-Rothwelia Pass.
