Merfolk create a society in the Straight of Cassus

Merfolk settled here not long after the continet of Septentrionalis was reopened, and long before any other settlers. Initially shy of land-dweelers, they eventually opened trade relations. These closed down during the Cassus Wars. Humans and Drow alike have various myths about the merfolk, none of them flattering.
