Tiefling Variant Bloodlines

Throughout the hundreds of years following the realms war with the increasing trade and travel between the hells and material plane 3 new variants of the tiefling race were born out of relationships between tieflings or devils and Dragonborn, Dwarves and Elves. These new bloodlines brought different characteristics to the human-devil race we know as the tieflings. The dragonborn tieflings are known as Hellscales, the elf tieflings are known as Feyfire and the dwarf tieflings are known as Devilforged.   Alignment. Tieflings might not have an innate tendency toward evil, but many of them end up there. Evil or not, an independent nature inclines many tieflings toward a chaotic alignment.   Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.   Darkvision. Thanks to your infernal heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Hellish Resistance. You have resistance to fire damage.

You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.   Chromatic Ancestry. You trace your ancestry to a chromatic dragon, granting you a special magical affinity. Choose one type of dragon from the Chromatic Ancestry table. This determines aspects of your appearance and the damage type for your other traits as shown in the table.
Infernal Fury When you take damage from a creature within 5 feet of you, you can channel the chromatic essence of your ancestry as a reaction. Elemental energy, reflective of your chosen Chromatic Ancestry, bursts out from you in a 15-foot radius. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus. On a failed save, the creature takes 2d6 damage of the type associated with your Chromatic Ancestry, or half as much on a successful save. The damage increases to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d6 at 16th level. After using this ability, you can't use it again until you complete a short or long rest.   Draconic Resistance.
