Session 13: Smiling forever in death

General Summary

Killing a gelatinous cube instead of it killing you, finding interesting stuff and hugging with some deadly kitties!

Highlights

• After a long rest a wardrobe change for Ghanok & Maggie. Ghanok is wearing his boots of elvenkind & Maggie can now change into a bat with the Cloak of the Bat.
• They search the sewers and come across bodies, more fungi & another gelatinous cube!
• Learned from the last fight and now vanquished the gelatinous cube instead of it vanquishing us! *yay*
• As a killer blow Ghanok stabs a smiley into the gelatinous cube, it is now smiling forever in death!
• They find another portal *groan* with a cat-like beast with tentacles in front of it..
• Maggie uses her deck of illusions for the first time throwing a card at the creature, creating a Harpie Illusion as a distraction.
• The beginning of the battle with this creature is filled with mistakes, falling and failures of weapons
• From the portal came another cat-like beast
• Maggie sets her bag on fire while trying to close the portal with wild magic, destroying four items within. Pouch of Jerky, Tiny Sketch of Goblin, Trophy of Dead Animal and One Proviciency
