Tribal Leaders

The Burnir Tribe:

The Burnir tribe is primarily made up of Bearfolk with the occasional Dwarf that has washed up on Kalt and proven themselves worth
Tribal Leader: Mormont Burningstride

The Samlokas Tribe:

The Samlokas consists of Otterfolk and the occasional gnome who washes into their waters and proves themselves to the tribe. They have more food than the other tribes due to their aquatic abilities, allowing them to get more food from the water.

The Dádýr Tribe:

The Dádýr tribe is made up of deerfolk and the occasional elf that washes onto their land. They are the weakest tribe in Kalt. Being a vegetarian tribe has its disadvantages in the climate of Kalt with the little vegetation that grows on the island, and thus are dependent on the help of other tribes. They have a tentative alliance with the Kanina tribe.

The Mörgaes Tribe:

Tribe Mörgaes is mainly penguinfolk and accepts a surviving human into their flock. They are the second most abundant tribe, after the Samlokas, once again for their aquatic abilities, but their diet is more limited compared to the Samlokas.

The Ulfur Tribe:

The Ulfur tribe is made up of wolffolk who become refuge to dragonborn that wash up in their territory and earn the leaders respect and trust.
Tribal leader: Shade Stormtail

The Refers Tribe:

The Refers are a tribe of kitsune with the occasional Tiefling. The kitsune know what its like to be assumed to act one way rather than who they are and take pity on washed up tieflings. They are the 3rd strongest tribe in Kalt, but want to change this desperately.
Tribal leader: Shin Sharpleaf

The Kanina Tribe:

The Kanina tribe is made up of rabbitfolk and the occasional halfling. They are the second weakest tribe in Kalt. They face similar issues to the Dádýr, with a vegetarian diet in a low vegetation environment, but the Kanina have more members with smaller bodies and are much more adapted to cold weather than the deerfolk of the Dádýr. They have a tentative truce with the Dádýr and help when they can and offer provisions.
