Baba Yaga

Appearance A hunched crone with iron teeth and stern, wrinkled face. She is most often encountered puttering around her hut in the woods. The hut is of a wandering sort, rarely staying in one place for long. It is said to walk the wild lands on large chicken legs, though few claim to have seen it themselves. No one knows how old she is for she prizes secrets and knowledge known to few above all else.   Common Knowledge   She is known as a trader of secrets though never parting without a price, if only for herself. She has used this knowledge to shape the world to her own inscrutable purpose.   Some say she is a Fey, even one of the Fey lords, others a witch of great ken, still others claim her to be a power in mortal form. Still all agree she never forgets a slight or wrong.   As with the Fey, her word is her bond.   Associates   Baba Yaga’s most constant companions are the three knights, Bright Day, Red Sun, Black Knight. Each in his signature hauberk, these knights are known for their finely made plate mail, arms and most of all the grand mounts they ride. Few attempt to cross them or bar their way. They are known to not suffer fools.     Aliases: Good Granny, Lady of the Huts
