Magic Beans

The recent fad of drinking coffee has almost been supplanted by the popularity of chocolate drink. Luckily for the Magic Beans, they serve both beverages.
If you are lucky enough to gain a table at the Magic Bean you will see the upper reaches of Landington society, but only the truly rich and powerful are able to cross the velvet rope into the Upper Room. So-called, not because you climb stairs to gain it, but because the people allowed in there are in the uppermost tiers of society.
A well placed rumor, or the wrong outfit can end someone's ability to enter the Upper Room. Denial to the Upper Room has been known to send a young debutante into tears.
The owner, Dane Wolfheart, when asked how his family got their last name, will smile, tug at his pointed ear and give a different answer to each person who asks.
