Roan De Carville

Appearance A tall, thin acerbic figure. Known for wearing long flapping coats and wide brimmed hats, Roan has a reputation for searching out the mysteries of the world, especially those people are willing to pay for.

Common Knowledge

Roan De Carvelle originally from the Kingdom of Rhodan, made a name north of the border of the province of Brandenberg. There Roan uncovered among some supporting artifacts the Kharton Diaries. The Diaries confirm the literal existence of the Crystal City, long thought mythological. The Diaries and artifacts were quickly taken into protective custody of the Church of the Creator, but Roan’s name was made.

Roan is believed to have uncovered an entrance into the Undercity of the ghouls, below the Orkberg Mountains. Tales differ on what was brought out, but the stories claim it is not uninhabited.

Roan is credited with uncovering the lair of Ezra the Enchanter (also called Ezra the Mad) on an island north of Aloria. A number of artifacts made with skills unknown to the modern world have been seen of late to give credence to this tale. Journal of Roan de Carville
