San Martine

The San Martine family lies at the top left corner of the island of Aloria. The land is too filled with rocks and the soil is poor, and the lack of minerals means this section fell to the ranchers. As often happens with a large grouping of people having to survive on their own, they have an independent flair.
Dueling is popular in San Martine as they easily take offense, and are quite likely to challenge you if they believe you are impugning their honor. Or looked at them wrong, or walked on the wrong side of the street. Though streets are few and far between.
As a result, the San Martine region is most known for stating, "You can't make me."
