Alyria

Alyria a primarily mountainous nation that is known as one of the most prosperous nations of the world. Recently the Astartii Imperium attempting to invade only for ten full legions to be destroyed during an event where a new range of mountains sprung up along the border, cutting off the Imperium from easy access to Alyria, the work of the Alyrian God-Queen, Alyrila. The God-Queen is the apparent god of mercy to the Alyrian people, and ever since her ascension to both the throne and godhood after her husband's death she has ushered in an era of prosperity, peace, and wellbeing to her people. She is the only god worshipped in Alyria and despite being the god of mercy has one of the most militarily advanced nations on Tirestir, however also has one of the smallest standing militaries due to their god regularly directly intervening when Alyria is threatened.   In Alyria only Alyrila is worshipped, to make sure this worship is conducted safely and within the direct teachings of their living god, the Conservators act as both guardians of the faith, and a police force capable of acting as judge, jury, and if necessary executioner. Despite the concern someone from outside of this society would have for a group of militant religious enforcers being the primary police force of a nation, the Conservators are beloved by the people, highly respected, and are seen as heroes to the citizens that are not on the wrong side of the law, with many children striving to become one in adulthood.   The direct guidance by a being such as Alyrila has led this nation to be mostly independent of others on Tirestir, mainly trading only for luxury goods meant for entertainment, otherwise all the citizens of Alyria need is available to them within the borders of Alyria. This wealth has driven the gaze of many power hungry nation or starving individuals towards Alyria but both are rebuked equally, either by the power of a god and military, or by the fact that many Alyrians are xenophobic and intolerant of those who do not know the grace and mercy of their God-Queen.
