Azri'Gal. God of Freedom and Desire (Ah-Zree-Gal)

God of Freedom

Known as rogue god, the bard god, or the risen one, they were a mortal who were said to be so talented during their time on Tirestir that they managed to attract the attention of multiple deities, accruing favors and blessings from them all, even taking two as lovers before starting a cult dedicated to themselves. They appear to their followers as a large humanoid male with alabaster white skin, rainbow eyes, devil horns, and wings made of white flames, but they also enjoy appearing in the form of whatever mortal they please, with a blond half elf bard being a favorite form. They are known for offering someone’s deepest truest desires alongside a goal that is nearly impossible to attain except for the most determined of souls, this is why they have become known as the patron of adventurers. Despite using the favor of the gods to convince others they were one themselves they used this cult dedicated to themselves to topple an ancient slaving empire and since their ascension to godhood still remain as a lover to several deities. Many Tieflings and Aasimar can trace their lineage to Azri’gal and his archangel Corvus, despite both being popular figures in the love stories of bards for their utter devotion to their wives. Azir’gal is also a strangely enigmatic figure, preferring to not take clerics but instead warlocks, although they favor their mortal descendants with powerful sorcerer bloodlines. They are one of the most active gods on Tirestir in the fact they almost constantly walk the world interacting with mortals, even if those mortals never know who it was they met.

Artifacts

They have two artifacts, one is a lute that seems to only function when you can see the person you love, but grants its user unparalleled charisma. This will also grants both bards and sorcerers that know how to play it, unparalleled magical power.
The other artifact they rarely give out is a key, that seems to be made of white stone soaked with blood. It seems to be able to unlock any lock, though some claim it is able to unlock more than just physical constraints.

Azri'gal's goals are very straightforward and he does not hide them from his followers, he aspires to free all enslaved individuals, promote a shedding of inhibitions, and is a patron to all adventurers who pay him tribute.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Azri'gal stands at an imposing eight foot tall height when interacting with medium sized creatures, though will adjust his height according to whomever he interacts with. They have stark white skin, a long devilish tail, wings that seem to be made of fire, and a devil horned head with a halo burning bright atop them. She typically will always appear as an individuals physically attractive to those they appear around, though to lover will slowly shift into the appearance of a male changeling that they seem to prefer when not appearing as a god.
