Conclave of Knowledge
This island is constantly surrounded by a thick white mist. It is said that any unwelcome ship that tries to approach this island will become lost and turned around, finding themselves heading away from the island even without making any turns. These mists will sometimes spill onto the nearby continent after strong storms, leading to caravans and armies getting completely lost, sometimes hundreds of miles away from where the mist engulfed them. Old maps list this place as the Conclave of Knowledge, though it is said nobody in living memory has visited. Records from the time of these old maps, and before, tell of an island covered completely in a large marble wall, inside the wall concentric circles of water lie between large civilized ring sections. The rings are said to contain farms, towns, monuments, and of course at the center of them all the Amethyst library, a large library structure said to be constructed from an exterior of amethyst crystal.
