Crag Jumpers

Living in two worlds Crag Jumpers have adapted to living high in the mountains to canyons. And when unable to live in their preferred environment they build structures from clay, and stone. Reason being, they have adapted to being able to jump higher and further than any other of the tribes. Able to withstand falling from greater heights, they ambush enemies and prey from above. And when jumping doesn’t cut it they can glide with retractable spines and a thin epidermis allowing gliding to forty five metres. Because of this feature many of the tribes call them “Clay Wings” or “Feather Scales”. Many of the other tribes will also use the magic they were given by Aurdu to keep trees at various heights to hamper this advantage.   Their spines generally will give them away, but ridged and earth coloured scales are their other give away. Clothing is generally of the same colours using glass, gems, metal, and stone as accessories as armour is made of thin metal plates over leather and/or cloth.   This tribe is noted for skilled miners, masons, glassmakers, jewellers, and smiths for trade skills. Having been taught by the Glint Eyes, they have learned a secret forge technique that allows them to make any metal armour lighter as leather armour. Warriors, rangers, barbarian, rogues, sorcerers, wizards, and druids comprise the rest of the Crag Jumpers. Many find it odd this tribe has a strong calling or affinity to the elements of earth and air, but not many are willing to speak on why this is. Crag Jumpers don’t show aggression to outsiders or the other tribes, but everyone usually feels watched constantly while in their lands. There are hints of some kind of alliance between Crag Jumpers and Ashen Fang; sharing land where caves are found, both knowing Dethek, and rare sightings of offspring from the two tribes. These children are hidden away quickly and possess traits from both tribes, earning them the name Night Reavers
