Glitz, The Rapscallion

Glitz is an ancient copper dragon who currently runs a brewery and inn within the town of Bronzeford. He is the namesake for the town, despite the innacurate metal name, as the townsfolk originally thought that the great dragon flying overhead was bronze instead of copper, and he never again appeared to the town in dragon form.
In terms of Copper Dragon's glitz is considered odd by many of his contemporaries. While gold dragons and steel dragons are generally comfortable living among mortals, many of the other metallic dragon's, copper included, prefer to take a more distant but benevolent approach towards them. Glitz threw these previous conventions to the wind and took to living a life similar to that of the Steel Dragons. He has spent most of his life living amongst the mortal races of Tirestir. He spent a time as an adventurer, baker, city mayor, gladiator, and now a prominent brewer and town leader.
Glitz has regularly fallen back on an adventuring lifestyle, and even to this day has an ongoing membership with the Freeswords Guild, under several different aliases. There is only one thing that has made Glitz settle down for the last fifty years, and that thing is Var'Alyn, the love of his life. Var'Alyn and him met circumstantually, with her as a young elf seeing a striking copper dragon perched on a cliff above her town, and while everyone else in her village ran terrified of the beast, and approach and happily conversed with him. After this brief interaction she always felt blessed by a copper dragon, and it wasn't for many years later that, unbenownst to Glitz, he ran into her again and swiftly fell in love with the brash, confident, and always smiling elven woman he began to get to know. It wasn't until they were about to be married, tha the revealed his true form to her, that she explained their shared history. The two then moved back to her hometown and started a tavern, brewery, and vast farms to supply their endeavor. Even after a hundred years together the two happily continue with their married life, coming up with new brews, and new ways to make each other happy, every day.
