Neversun

Although once a small client kingdom in Eastpoint, Neversun rose above its station long ago. The only reason this claim is even known is because the High Kings of Eastpoint still claim these lands as their ancestral right, and typically use the reconquering of these lands as a platform for which to justify their rule. Yet Neversun still stands after all this time. Neversun still has the same racial distribution as Eastpoint and contains many humans, elves, minotaur's, centaurs, and other races among their numbers. The main difference between the two nation is the absolute monarchy that rules over Neversun which allows no dissent from those in appointed offices, as well as the fact that many officials in office as well as the Queen of Neversun have not died in a millennia.
Neversun is ruled by the Queen of Night, the first vampire ever spawned upon Tirestir from a ritual conducted long ago by a Snow Elf bard using forbidden blood magic and necromancy. Along with the Snow Elf bard Lucien and the Queen of Night, a third vampire progenitor was born from this ritual The Paladin Zomna, all of whom still hold office in Neversun.
Despite the name, Neversun does indeed see sunlight on a similar schedule to the rest of the world, less then usual but no less than the other northern nations of the world. The people of Neversun are strangely treated well despite their serfdom by their leadership, at least in some territories. The strong courtship dominance of Eastpoint is still quite prominent in this Vampire dominated society with balls, theater, and other various courtly goings-on being the biggest events of the year for many people. Many of the serfs who earn positions in the courts of the nobles of Neversun do so by offering to both serve their Vampiric nobles by the day, but also feed them whenever it is asked of them.
The blood knights of Neversun are the most fearsome nightly order in the world, with an elite order of blood knights known as blood dragons having bested nearly entire chivalric orders from Eastpoint by themselves. It is these Blood Dragon's that discovered the secret that by ending the life of a dragon by consuming its blood permanently sates the hunger of a vampire, lead by the Leonin Paladin Zomna, these blood knights are a large reason why Neversun has never been conquered by the many surrounding nations that hates the openly vampiric nature of the leaders of Neversun.

Fauna & Flora

Moonshadow Panther
The Moonshadow Panther is a sleek and mysterious creature that roams the dark forests of Neversun. These panthers have jet-black fur that seems to absorb light, making them nearly invisible in the moonlit nights. They possess glowing, silver eyes that shimmer with a haunting luminescence. Moonshadow Panthers are stealthy hunters and are often associated with the Queen of Night, embodying the elegance and predatory nature of Neversun.
Nightshade Bloom
Nightshade Bloom is a rare and enchanting flower that grows only under the pale moonlight in the secluded corners of Neversun. Its petals are a deep purple hue, almost black, and emit a faint ethereal glow. The flower possesses potent magical properties and is often used in dark rituals and spells. However, it is also rumored that Nightshade Bloom can be used to create a special elixir that temporarily grants individuals enhanced night vision and heightened senses.
